Refund Policy
Last updated 14 August 2026.
Credits are a platform feature rather than money, so there is no cash-out. What there is, is a genuine window in which you can change your mind about your very first purchase and get back the part of it you have not used.
1. When a refund can be requested
- Within 14 days of your first purchase. The window runs from the moment that purchase completed, and it is the only refund window there is.
- Only the first purchase is refundable. Once you have bought once and kept the credits past the window, later purchases are final. Every top-up after the first is a decision you made knowing exactly what you were buying.
- A purchase that has already been refunded, in whole or in part, cannot be refunded again.
2. What is refundable
Only credits still sitting in your purchased balance. Credits you have already spent are gone, and credits you did not pay for were never refundable in the first place:
- Purchased credits: refundable while unspent.
- Earned credits: yours to spend on the exchange, but not refundable. No money was paid for them.
- Bonus credits: never refundable, and they expire 90 days after they are granted.
3. Spend order: purchased first
When you spend credits, the platform draws them down in a fixed order: purchased first, then earned, then bonus. This is deliberate and it works in your favour on expiry, but it also means that spending eats into the refundable balance before it touches anything else.
A worked example
- You buy 500 credits.
- You spend 100 credits advertising your project.
- Your site earns 100 credits by showing other members' ads.
Your balance is now 500 − 100 + 100 = 500 credits, but the spend came out of the purchased bucket first. So you hold 400 purchased credits and 100 earned ones, and the refundable amount is 400 credits, not 500. The 100 you earned stay in your balance to spend on the exchange; they are simply not something we can pay money back for.
4. How much money comes back
The payout is proportional in both directions. Refunding 400 of a 500-credit pack returns four fifths of the price you paid, and absorbs four fifths of the payment-processing fee we were charged to sell it. Payment fees are deducted from the refund. Refunding half the credits would return half the price and absorb half the fee. That is the only split that stays fair at every proportion.
Any tax charged at purchase is handled by our payment provider under their own rules. The exact figures for your purchase are shown before you confirm the request, and the amount is paid back to the payment method you used.
5. How to request one
Open Billing in your account, find the purchase, and choose Request refund. You will see the refundable credits and the amount before you confirm. When the refund settles, the refunded credits are removed from your purchased balance. You cannot keep both the credits and the money. If your balance changed between the request and the settlement, the ledger records the exact deduction.
6. When we refuse
A request is refused when the 14 days have passed, when the purchase is not your first, when the purchase was already refunded, or when nothing is left in the purchased balance to refund. In each case you are shown which of those it was, together with the numbers behind it.
Credits forfeited under the fraud rules in the terms of service are not refundable, and neither are credits in an account closed for breaking those rules beyond what this policy already allowed.
