How the exchange works,
answered end to end.

A traffic exchange. You put an ad unit on a site you own, and every impression and click you deliver earns credits. You spend those credits on ads of your own, which run on every other member's site.

From people browsing members' websites. Every credit in circulation was earned by somebody showing an ad to a real visitor. There is no other way for one to enter the system, which is what keeps the traffic real.

No. Publishing is how most members get their credits, and it costs nothing but a slot on a page. If you would rather not run ads, or you want reach faster than you can earn it, you can buy credits instead.

Nothing. An account is free, publishing is free, and there is no minimum spend anywhere on the platform. The only thing you can pay for is credits, and only if you want more than you earned.

One click costs the advertiser one credit and pays the publisher one credit. The two sides are equal on purpose: this is a trade of traffic, not a market with a spread taken out of the middle.

Three, and the difference only matters for expiry and refunds.

• Purchased: bought with money. They do not expire, and they are the only ones a refund can touch.
• Earned: paid to you for the traffic your sites delivered. Yours to spend, never refundable for money, because no money was paid for them.
• Bonus: the ones we give away, such as the signup bonus and referral rewards. They expire 90 days after they are granted.

Purchased first, then earned, then bonus. The order is fixed, which is what makes the refund policy's arithmetic predictable, but it also means spending eats into the refundable balance before it touches anything else.

No to both. Credits have no monetary value, cannot be transferred, sold, or assigned, and there is no cash-out. They buy impressions and clicks on the exchange and nothing else.

Credits earned from clicks are held briefly while the traffic behind them is checked, then released to your spendable balance. Your credits page shows the held amount separately from the spendable one, so you can always see which is which.

Two ways, and you pick whichever you can reach. Publish a viberden-verify TXT record on the domain, or put a viberden-verify meta tag in the site's HTML head. The DNS record needs access to the zone file; the meta tag only needs a deploy.

Yes. We re-check it periodically, so leave the record or the tag in place. A site whose proof disappears stops earning until it is proven again. The check exists so nobody can add a domain they do not run.

Five standard banner sizes and a text unit. Create a zone, pick the format that fits your layout, and paste the one script tag it gives you where the ad should appear. Ads start filling the slot straight away.

Yes. You can block individual advertisers from your own inventory, and the block applies to every zone you run. Approving an ad for the exchange is never a decision about whether it belongs on your pages.

Altering, hiding, stacking, or auto-clicking the ad units, and placing them on pages carrying illegal material or malware. Earnings from that traffic are forfeited and the account can be suspended. The terms set it out in full.

Ads are reviewed before they serve, and we work through the queue every working day. The ad's status is on its own page in the app the whole time, whether pending, approved, or rejected with the reason, so you can see where it stands without waiting to be told.

The most common reason is that the destination does not match what the creative claims. The decision tells you which rule it was. Fix it and resubmit. A rejection costs no credits and does not count against the account.

No, and nobody honest can. What you get depends on how much inventory the exchange is running that week and how your creative performs against it. We guarantee no volume, placement, conversion rate, or result.

The credits it earned are forfeited rather than released, and the account behind it can be suspended. Self-clicking, automated traffic, hidden or incentivised placements and datacentre traffic dressed up as visitors are all covered. If you think a decision was wrong, write to us and we will look again.

Through our payment provider, who handles the transaction and holds the card details. They never reach us. Prices are shown before you confirm, and tax is added where it applies.

A pack is paid once and the credits are yours until you spend them. A subscription bills monthly and tops your balance up on its own, at a better rate per euro. Cancel a subscription whenever you like; the credits you were already given stay. Both are priced here.

Your first purchase can be refunded within 14 days, for the part of it you have not spent. Later purchases are final. Open Billing in your account, find the purchase, and choose Request refund. The refundable credits and the exact amount are shown before you confirm.

Because only unspent purchased credits are refundable, and spending draws down the purchased bucket first. Credits you earned publishing sit in your balance and are yours to spend, but no money was ever paid for them, so there is none to pay back.

Yes. You cannot sign in until you do, and the signup bonus arrives when you have. If the message has not turned up, check the spam folder before asking for another one.

Use forgot password. The link we email is single-use and short-lived; asking for a new one invalidates the last. You can also sign in with Google or GitHub if you registered that way.

No. One account per person, whatever address or payment method is used for the second. Every account involved can be suspended. An exchange where one person can be several members is one where the traffic stops meaning anything.

From your account settings, yourself. It happens immediately and cannot be undone: your sites and ads stop serving, your remaining balance is void, and your personal data is erased. The privacy policy lists exactly what is removed and the little that is kept, and why.
